The Weighbridge Inn is a quintessential English country pub, situated in the beautiful Cotswolds. It is every inch an 'old fashioned' pub in its style and ambience, with roaring log fires to welcome you in the winter and a beautiful enclosed garden and enclosed patio area for all seasons outdoor dining. The Weighbridge Inn is renowned for its wonderful 2in1 pies ® which have been made here for 50

years. Our food is freshly cooked to order in the kitchen. We use great seasonal British food and where ever possible we source locally. We keep a range of local real ales on tap, as well as an interesting and varied wine list, which we continually update.

Hi everyone,

The road from Nailsworth to Avening is closed for the next 4 weeks, you can’t get to us from nailsworth, the quickest way is via Pensile road ( right after Morrisons) or up the W to minchinhampton and down new road, you can get here from Avening currently.

June is notoriously our quieter month so please could we ask for everyone’s support while the road is closed, as we would really love to see you all at lunchtime, dinner or a nice drink at the bar.
We have some tasty cocktails 🍹on for the summer at great prices so why not pop in and try some, the garden is looking great and is always open with undercover area if it’s rainy🌧️🌦️

Hi guys ! So the road from the pub to nailsworth is now shut for possibly the next 6-7 weeks. From Avening to the pub the road is open despite the road closed signs all the way here. Pensile road is the quickest but slightly narrow so take your time coming this way. And up the W through Minchinhampton is the best way for people coming in from nailsworth. Over the common down through minch for people coming from stroud and beyond.We are open as normal! Hi everyone, unfortunately the Avening road has been closed for the next 8 weeks due to gasworks. We are still open as normal from Tuesday-Sunday each week! The pub is still accessible directly from Avening, and there is an easy route to take as a diversion from the Nailsworth side. You can go up the W and through Minchinhampton if you would like to take higher quality roads, or there is a more direct route by turning right just above the Morrisons and following the road all the way along, however this is a more narrow and pothole covered road. There are diversion signs in place although they are not the best way to access the pub. Hope to see lots of you over the next few weeks as we get into summer!

It’s National Pie Week and there’s no better place to celebrate than here at the Weighbridge Inn, Home of the 2in1 Pie!!

To help celebrate our favourite week of the year, our pie special throughout the week is Chicken, Bacon, and Mushroom in a rich garlic and cream sauce 😋

Everyone here at the Weighbridge Inn would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that has dined with us over the festive period and for making it one of our busiest months on record!!

And after such a busy period, it’s time to give our team a well-deserved break!

The pub will be shut from today and will reopen with our usual opening hours on Tuesday, 13th of January.

We will not be able to take phone calls during this period; however, bookings can still be made for when we reopen via our online booking system on our website! 🥧🍴

Happy Christmas everyone, hope your all enjoying the run up to Christmas, our Christmas opening hours are below.

Bake at home dates over Christmas.
We provide bake at home pies from Wednesdays to Sundays.
Over Christmas we need to have a limit on orders so please order early and freeze them at home for Christmas and new year.

Sunday 21st will be the last day for collection before Christmas and is nearly full but orders can be placed from now until then on the days we provide them.
Next available days after Christmas will be Saturday 27th, Sunday 28th, Wednesday 31st and Thursday 1st.

Our turkey served in a Yorkshire pudding with all the trimmings is selling well as is the special Game 2in1 pie both are on the menu throughout December along with lots of other food delights, hope to see everyone soon.

This is unacceptable, this photo was taken at 11.15am today, our car park full of cars, we’re not open until 12pm and have 50+ bookings for lunch with no space for them to park as people keep using our car park to park then go for a walk!
If you have a booking and are walking first then coming in for food then please put your car registration number on the booking notes so we know you are booked in.
Don’t make us us a car park management system like other pubs in the area have too, please stop using our car park to go for a walk.
