What a beautiful weekend ahead, and we’re here ready to make it even more special! ☀️🍕

Thank you for the many phone calls regarding the football. As we have previously stated, we will not be showing any matches during the tournament. We are, and always have been, a village pub rather than a football pub.

However, if our fabulous England team make it all the way to the final, then oh my God, of course we’ll be showing it! We’ll even have a new screen in the garden so our villagers can come together and enjoy the occasion in fabulous surroundings.

Until then, there are many great venues in town showing the football, and we thank you all for your continued support and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you for great food, drinks, and the warm atmosphere that makes The New Inn so special. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

What an overwhelming response to Father’s Day at The New Inn!

With over 80 of you already booked in to celebrate with us, we’d like to say a huge thank you. We’re looking forward to making the day as special as possible for all the dads, grandads and families joining us. As always, we’ll be going the extra mile to ensure you receive the warm hospitality, great food and friendly service that The New Inn is known for.

The weather forecast is looking wonderful, and our beautiful garden will be open all day. If you haven’t managed to secure a table, please do still come along and join us outside. We’ll do our very best to accommodate you and make sure everyone enjoys a fantastic Father’s Day.

A couple of important dates for your diary:

📅 Wednesday 24th June – Our main kitchen will be closed due to a family bereavement, however the bar will remain open as usual.

💍 Saturday 27th June – We will be closed all day as we are proudly hosting a private engagement party for a wonderful local couple, with over 100 guests attending. It promises to be a very special celebration. If you are lucky enough to be invited, we kindly ask that you respect our neighbours when leaving. Music will finish at midnight.

We are incredibly proud to be one of Wiltshire’s premier traditional village pubs, and we look forward to welcoming you all over the coming weeks to enjoy great food, great company and great times.

Well, we were all promised glorious weather for the rest of June… but it seems “Rainy June” has other ideas! ☔️🌦️

Here’s what’s happening at The New Inn for the rest of the month:

🍕 Friday – Pizza Friday
Freshly made pizzas, cold drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere as always.

👨‍👧‍👦 Father’s Day
Almost fully booked already. Booking is essential to avoid disappointment.

❤️ 24th June
The kitchen will be closed due to a family bereavement. Thank you for your understanding.

🥂 27th June
We are incredibly proud to be hosting a special engagement party for a lovely village couple. If you’re fortunate enough to be invited, please respect the venue and be considerate to our neighbours when leaving.

As always, thank you for your continued support. We are proud to be recognised by so many as the number one pub in Melksham. It’s your loyalty, our amazing team, and our commitment to great food, great drinks, and great hospitality that make The New Inn such a special place.

⚽ World Cup Football

We are immensely proud of the England team and wish them every success. However, The New Inn simply isn’t a football venue, so we will not be showing any matches. Should England progress to the final stages, we will review this and let everyone know.

Until then, we’ll continue doing what we do best — serving fantastic food, pouring great drinks, and providing the warm welcome you’ve come to expect.

☀️ Summer Has Officially Arrived at The New Inn! ☀️

With the sunshine making a welcome return and so many of you wanting to spend more time at The New Inn, we are delighted to announce our extended summer opening hours, starting from 8th June.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who continues to support your village pub. We are incredibly proud and grateful that so many of you choose to spend your time with us.

🍻 New Summer Opening Hours from 8th June:

• Tuesdays: 4:00pm – 8:00pm (drinks only)
• Sundays: 12:00pm – 8:30pm

As we head into what promises to be a fantastic summer, we’ll soon be announcing details of our much-anticipated Summer Party & Birthday Bash in August. It’s shaping up to be something very special.

🌙 We also know many of you have been asking about our Thai Nights. We are excited to confirm that Thai Nights will be starting soon, and we are currently working on a beautiful menu that we know you’re going to love.

Finally, we are absolutely delighted to welcome Thalia back to The New Inn team. We know many of our customers will be just as pleased as we are to see her return.

Here’s to long summer evenings, great company, fantastic food and drinks, and making more memories together at Melksham’s favourite village pub.

☀️ Another beautiful weekend is here at The New Inn! ☀️

What a Friday night that was! Once again, we smashed our records – the restaurant was packed, the garden was full of laughter and good company, and pizzas were flying out of the oven from every direction. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a fantastic evening.

Today, we’re ready to do it all over again! With beautiful weather, a stunning garden, an amazing team ready to look after you, and of course our fantastic pizzas and delicious home-cooked food, there’s no better place to spend your day.

We are open today from 2pm until early evening, serving our fabulous pizzas from 2pm until they’re gone — so get down early to your beautiful village pub and enjoy the heatwave while it lasts.

The sunshine has arrived, the heatwave is here, and everything at The New Inn is ready for a fantastic weekend ahead ☀️🍕

The pizza oven is fired up, the garden is looking absolutely stunning, and we want to thank every one of you for your wonderful comments and continued support.

We will be serving lunch tomorrow, however we are already fully booked for dining, and the restaurant is filling up fast across the weekend. Tables are going quickly, as you can imagine!

With so much doom and gloom in the world, there’s never been a better time to get down to your beautiful village pub, enjoy the sunshine, great food, good company, and let The New Inn team look after you to the highest standard as always. ❤️

A complete oasis in paradise right in the heart of your little village… welcome to The New Inn 🌞🍕🌿

With the heatwave approaching and a fantastic forecast ahead, tables are booking fast — even our beautiful garden tables are now being reserved, so we strongly advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Our fabulous pizzas are available this Friday, followed by a wonderful kitchen team taking care of you all weekend with exceptional food and service. Then on Monday, the pizzas are back for the perfect relaxed garden snack while you soak up the sunshine.
