A difficult announcement from us ❤️
It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that, sadly, we will be leaving The Royal Oak Inn.
Due to the ongoing challenges we have faced with Meavy Parish Council regarding our opening hours, it has unfortunately reached a point where continuing to run the business is no longer financially viable for us.
This is an incredibly difficult decision. We have poured our heart, soul and endless hours into The Royal Oak Inn, working hard to make it our own and create a place we could be proud of. We are truly heartbroken that this chapter is coming to an end.
For anyone who currently has a valid gift voucher, we would like to reassure you that these can still be used up until 29th November 2026, which will be the last day our kitchen will be open.
We also want to say a massive thank you to all of our amazing and hardworking staff. We couldn’t have done this without you, and we are incredibly grateful for all the hours, effort and dedication you have given us.
And finally, a huge thank you to every single one of you who has supported us, visited us, recommended us, encouraged us and helped us along the way. We appreciate every bit of your support more than we can put into words. ❤️
Thank you for being part of our journey.
Many thanks,Jo & Lee ❤️ #❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
