Just a quick reminder to say that we are closed today as previously posted for a short break. Don’t worry though, we will be back open tomorrow Friday 12th June bringing you as always an outstanding range of draught, cask, wines, spirits and mixers as standard, talented musicians every weekend and an electric atmosphere, with good vibes only at your award winning pub.
This Saturday we have the fabulous Jenny Ball perform her sensational set from 8pm. Come see her before she hits the big time!!
On a side note, we are getting reports off people on a regular basis saying they were told not come down to us as we are closed to the public on some nights because we have private parties booked in. This has never been the case and never will be. We do host parties and events but we are still ALWAYS open to the public. We also don’t advertise music acts that are booked for parties but you are all still able to come in and enjoy this music too. We always say when booking with us that this is the case. So please if you hear anyone saying this please correct them and then shimmy on down to the Captain Nelson where we guarantee a night to remember 💃🏻🕺🏻🪩🍻🍾🥂🎶🎸🎤.
