🍻 AND THAT’S US DONE FOR THE WEEK! 🍻
We are officially CLOSED and putting our feet up until Tuesday! 🙌
What a week… honestly, it has been INSANELY busy! 😴❤️
From wedding afternoon teas, to an endless amount of roast dinners, to feeding, watering and generally keeping everyone happy… and then let’s just say we had a rather cheeky evening thrown into the mix too! 😉😂
We have absolutely loved every minute of it, but we are now ready for a sit down, a cuppa and to put our feet up for a couple of days!
A HUGE thank you to every single person who has stepped through our door this week — whether you popped in for a drink, joined us for a meal, celebrated with us or simply came in for a chat.
We appreciate every single one of you more than you know. ❤️
So, the doors are locked, the shoes are coming off and the feet are going UP! 😂🦶
See you Tuesday when we do it all again! 🍻❤️

It was such a fantastic turnout, and it was just wonderful to see so many new faces joining us. It’s lovely to see our little Book Club growing and becoming such a welcoming group.

WELL… THAT WAS A DAY! 😳😂
After an absolutely INSANE day at the Rusty Axe, we think it’s safe to say everyone has earned a sit down!
A MASSIVE shout-out to Shaun 👨‍🍳❤️ — our ONLY chef — who somehow managed to produce an incredible number of amazing meals today, all while the kitchen was under EXTREME pressure!
Honestly, we don’t quite know how he did it… but he absolutely smashed it! 👏🔥
And a huge thank you to our amazing staff today. ❤️ They worked incredibly hard, kept going through the madness and handled the pressure brilliantly. We really do appreciate every single one of you! 👏👏
Tomorrow, Bank Holiday Monday, we’re taking things down a few gears
So…

Our lovely Lizzie will be behind the bar all day, ready with her usual big smile, friendly welcome and a good old natter! 😊

🍔💥 THE MARTOCK MASSIVE CHALLENGE! 💥🍔
A massive well done to young Noah, who came in today with his mum and two brothers to take on our legendary Martock Massive! 😱🍔
All three boys took on the challenge, but Noah absolutely smashed it! 💪🏆
His two brothers couldn’t quite finish theirs, but Noah managed to polish his off — what a little champion! 👏😂
And for completing the challenge, Noah earned himself a FREE Malteser Sundae! 🍨🍫
Well done, Noah! 🏆 You’ve definitely earned your bragging rights! 😆
