A big, massive 'Thank You!' to everybody who came to the the Charity 'Big Gig' at The Anglers Retreat, Marsworth this last Bank Holiday Monday.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised a whopping £2019.00!!

The Henry Allen Trust www.thehenryallentrust.org.uk would like to thank Sarah Hawkes and her fantastic staff... Eliana Coope, Stewart Canham, Tracy Cash, Cat Thorburn and George Spratt-Smith for keeping everyone 'well watered' throughout the day. To the 'BBQ Kings' Richard Oastler and Simon Holland, who fed everybody and kept everyone 'well stuffed'... To the amazing kitchen staff, Lou Archibald, Ruby Johnston and Ella Langdon and to Eliana for making the delicious pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven... To Donna and Luica for hassling you all to buy the raffle tickets... And a huge, massive thanks to all the bands and performers, who all gave up their day and played and performed for free... Ross Connor, Steve Campbell, Raz of The Razorz, The Roberts Family Band, Matt Drew, Kevin Mack, Out Of The Blue, Peter Joseph, Sarah Callow, Jeff Roberts and Tess, Lily Roberts, Josie Roberts, Bongo Pete, Roger Spalding, Samantha Lawrence, Karen, Louise Eder, Roy Fox, Danny Graceland (Elvis!!), Tim Newcombe, Ttam Reniaw, Hannah Hedley and to all the people who generously donated the raffle prizes. A big thanks to Katie Webb at Custom Creations for the staff T-Shirts and to Steve Cripps Graphic Design, for the poster designs, outdoor banner and facebook/social media marketing.

Here we go folks, announcing our bands and artists who are performing at our Bank Holiday Monay ‘Big Gig’ 2026 The Anglers Retreat, Marsworth - this year another whole day of live music, bbq, raffle prizes and sunshine (hopefully!) - always a fun day for the whole family - dogs welcome! - and all for a good cause! This year we are raising money for the The Henry Allen Trust - Henry's Happiness - so please bring some loose change and give generously while enjoying the live music from local bands! Look out for our charity bucket on the bar…
