This week is a special (and bittersweet) one, it’s our final week at The Royal Oak. We’ll be closing our doors for the last time this Sunday.
But before then, we’d love to see you! We’re open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So why not join us for some pub grub, or simply a drink on the terrace .
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past 2.5 years. Let’s make this last week one to remember! 🍻

It’s with mixed emotions that we share the news that The Royal Oak will be closing its doors on Sunday, 28th September. 💔
Between now and then, we’ll be open on:
Friday 19th, Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st
Thursday 25th, Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and our final day – Sunday 28th.
There are still some bookings available, so why not join us for one last meal together? Whether it’s hearty pub classics, a traditional Sunday roast, or simply relaxing in the garden and terrace with friends (dogs always welcome 🐾) – we’d truly love to see you.
Let’s make these last few days together ones to remember.

Closure Announcement

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that The Royal Oak will be closing its doors on Sunday 28th September.

The past two and half years have been nothing short of incredible, filled with laughter, stories and memories.
It has also been extremely tough at times and despite our best efforts, we have reached the difficult decision to say goodbye.

We are truly devastated to see it go but so very grateful for every one of you who has walked through our doors, supported us and shared this journey with us. Your kindness, loyalty, and encouragement have meant the world and we could not have made it this far without you.

We’ll be open this week from Friday to Sunday and next week from Thursday to Sunday.

Sunday 28th, after our usual service, we’ll be serving drinks from 6pm onwards. We’d love for you to drop by, raise a glass and say goodbye with us.

Yesterday we threw the ultimate wedding party up at the Teepee for 140 wonderful guests! 💍✨ After tying the knot at All Saints Church on Saturday, the happy couple kept the celebrations rolling with us on Sunday.

☀️ The sun was out, the hut bar was flowing (wine and aperol spritz being served along with 300+ pints of Rebellion, endless bubbles & plenty of flying corks 🥂🍾), and the food kept everyone smiling — Tasty beef & halloumi burgers, colourful veggie skewers, padron peppers and the freshest mozzarella & tomato salad. 🍔🌽🥗

It couldn’t have been more perfect — amazing people, glorious weather, and our incredible team who made it all happen. 💛 Thanks to everyone who celebrated with us! 🎉✨
