Come down, have a drink, catch up and see us, we’ve missed having the pub full of familiar faces!
🍽️ Our lunch menu will also be available over the weekend, so why not pop in for a bite to eat too?

It’s these little touches, especially when they’re handmade and personalised, that make them extra special.

🍗 GURT WINGS ARE COMING TO THE BLUE BOAR! 🍗
Following the success of our previous food pop-ups, we’re really excited to announce that Gurt Wings will be joining us at The Blue Boar on Friday 2nd October! 🔥🐔
Expect some seriously tasty wings, big flavours and plenty of choice! 🤤
Hopefully the weather will be on their side, but if the Great British weather has other ideas, don’t worry, you’ll have full use of our restaurant area to sit down, get comfortable and enjoy your wings. 🍗🍺
And remember, our food pop-ups are for the whole village, you don’t have to be a pub customer to come along and grab some food. Takeaway is absolutely welcome too.

📻 LOUD & CLEAR… THE BLUE BOAR IS BACK THIS FRIDAY....

After a little time off air, we’re really looking forward to communicating with our Blue Boar team and customers again this Friday! 😄
The radios will be crackling, the team will be back in position and, most importantly, the b**r will be flowing. 🍺
We’ve missed the banter, the familiar faces and the buzz of the pub, and we can’t wait to check in with you all from 5pm this Friday.

UPDATE ON OUR REOPENING 🍻
Due to a slight delay with the building works, we’re now aiming to reopen on Friday 18th September from 5pm.
Our lunch menu will be available over the weekend, so come along, see the changes and enjoy some good food and a drink or two with us.

While the work continues at The Blue Boar, Debbie’s been busy behind the scenes working on our new winter menu, testing dishes, tweaking ideas and, most importantly, looking at how we can use more locally sourced produce. 🌱🥩🥕
There’s something very comforting about proper pub food as the colder months arrive, and we want the new menu to be all about good-quality ingredients, hearty flavours and proper home-cooked food.
