It has been said in another forum ( planning app ) that I am asset stripping from the pub by keeping two flats which I built on the site and as such this has been a cause of the pub closing. However as it happens the current landlord approached me to have the pub on a rental basis . The rent is much lower than market value and I waived the first two months rent . I also gifted the stock in the cellar to Mihai to help him get going . It has also been suggested that I am destroying the pub ! My family can be traced back to Ramsbury many generations and closing the pub is not what I ever thought would happen. Please understand that I am upset that our pub is no longer financially viable. If anyone wishes to speak to me about this please contact me to discuss it.

Unfortunately it is with a heavy heart that due to a lack of support and an economy which make’s running a small business very difficult, The pub will be closing its doors for a final time at the end of November. Mihai has put his heart and soul into keeping the pub afloat as did I . However there is only so much which can be achieved in the current financial climate .
