Mantonfest

Mantonfest Mantonfest is a charity fundraising music festival held annually in the village of Manton around end of June/beginning of July.

Manton Music Festival (Mantonfest) is a celebration of a wide range of music by local and nationally known bands catering for all tastes from classical to rock ‘n roll. This Event is organised by the Mantonfest Committee and is in aid of much-needed restoration funds for Manton Village Hall and other local charities.

⏰The day starts at 12.00pm and the music keeps rolling until late
🥪 You can bring your own picnics, including alcohol, but please bring cans instead of bottles, for safety reasons
🍔🍟🍺🥂There will be delicious food from a variety of food stalls and a bar tent
⛺️Want to stay the night? A camper van pitch is £20 and payable on entry, no need to be booked in advance as we have plenty of room in the field, or nearby Marlborough has lots of wonderful places to stay.

Last night was the volunteer committees final serious planning meeting covering everything from Radio 105.5's live broadcast to field layout, stewards and stage management. Fun fact - 16 years ago the first mantonfest took place in the Oddfellows pub garden to raise a few quid for the village hall refurbishment. Top of the bill were Straight Six fronted by Danny Simonis. This year he returns with his current (amazing) band - Last Train Smoking to ensure that we get you moving and grooving from the get go and he shares this personal message:

Hi everyone it's Last Train Smokin' here.
Can we just say how excited we are to have been invited to play on the main stage at Mantonfest this year.
We are really looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday 27th June and share the best of Chicago and Texas blues with you.
See you on the main stage at 1pm.😎

Breaking News. This year's festival will be supported by a live radio broadcast by the team at Swindon 105.5. This will involve live interviews with the bands and tracks from the event - they will be onsite all day as part of their planned growth into Marlborough and beyond.
