Well what can we say about our first quiz night at the coach 🥳

Firstly a massive shout out to the incredible performance by our host Kaine Smith & his an esteemed assistant Jessica Smith! 👏👏

Secondly & another massive thank you to all you lovely lot for turning out & making such a fun, enjoyable atmosphere, 13 teams for the first quiz was an awesome effort 🙌☺️

& thirdly well done once again to the Coach OG’s taking away the bragging rights for this week alongside the trophy, £63 prize money & a round of drinks for the whole team. 🏆💴🍻

Lastly & no means least we raised an incredible £100 for this weeks charity ‘Hinckley & Bosworths district toy & food collection’ ❤️

Happy Monday!

What an awesome weekend.
We’ve had a great weekend and honestly never seen a Saturday night karaoke busier! 🎤 Me and Joel were downstairs trying to finalise the Christmas and Winter menus and it went out the window as we were so busy!

Long post alert but we need a catch up…

So what’s on this week:

-QUIZ NIGHT, the first one is on Thursday 😍. With local superstar KAINE SMITH hosting these quiz’s are going to be amazing 😅. Book to secure your table or just turn up, remember half the money goes to a local charity too 🩶

-The BEACH (sandpit) is staying. We weren’t sure what to do here but after seeing so many little ones playing on it all week we’re keeping it. We’re going to invest in a few bits to make it more permanent 🏜️.

-Football Saturday. England vs Republic of Ireland will be on screens at 5pm. ⚽️

-Food menus Winter/ Chri***as. Don’t want to offend by mentioning too much at this point 🎄🎅🏽😂. But for us we’ve been making plans since we got here. We can tell you that we’ll be releasing a new winter menu that will be avaliable from start of November then we’ll also be releasing a set Christmas Menu for festive get togethers. Menus and Xmas events to be released next few weeks.
We will NOT ❌ be opening for food Christmas Day, right now, the plan is to open for a few hours for drinks so we can have a festive tipple with all of you! We only started here half way through the year and our staff weren’t prepped to do a full service for Christmas day and we value them enough not to force them.

-New booking system. We’re investing in a new booking system as the one we’ve inherited isn’t great and not user friendly for our side. It won’t be much different for you guys but will make our staffs lives 10 times easier our end. We’ll let you know when it goes live ⏰.

-Lastly, redecoration. We’re doing it 😍. Service as normal but no judgement on the state of the pub this week and maybe next 😂. This gorgeous building needs some love and we’re going to bring it back to looking beautiful 😍. Outside to follow (probably next year).

Firstly massive thank you to everyone you joined us over the bank holiday for the inaugural ‘Coach Fest’ 😍
We had a blast & can’t wait for the next one!! 🥳🥳

As you can see the weather wasn’t quite at its best & as the sun is pending this week we’ve decided to keep the beach going for little while longer 🏝️☀️

We’ve also got the brilliant King of Karaoke this Saturday night 🎤🎶

Also we are gearing up for our first ever quiz night 👀🤔Thursday 5th September for the first one we will be supporting Hinckley & Bosworth food & toy appeal.
