My son, Albert, has a rare condition called Prader-Willi Syndrome and is autistic. He will need round the clock support and care for his whole life.
For the last 8 years I have been the Chair of the charity that supports the Syndrome Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK. In October I step down having served the maximum time allowed by our rules.
As a last event in role, I am running the Great North Run on 13 September. I would be immensely grateful if you could help me to help this charity, who make such a difference to people like Albert just one last time. Thank you.
