The Club would like to run a Christmas Shopping trip to Norwich on Saturday, 5th December, but as we all know fuel costs have rocketed in the last 12 months causing increased hire charges. We are able to book a bus and the proposed cost is £20 per person but we do need a minimum of 40 people to make it viable. People have said they want to go but for it to go ahead but we need definite bookings. If you want to go please let us know by Monday, 12th October so we can confirm the coach. We will require non-refundable payment on booking.

It's that time of year again when we start collecting membership subs. They are actually due from the 1st November but you can pay from now by cash, card or BACS. Please bring your door cards with you but avoid trying to pay while the bar is busy! If you are thinking of joining, now is the best time because you get an extra month.

Just over four months to go & scorching hot outside, what better time to start thinking about that Christmas Party Night. We are now taking bookings for Friday, 11th December for our Works Christmas Party Night. We've got a wonderful Christmas meal followed by the fantastic Abba Gems to dance to (or just listen!). Get booked in now for just £30 a person.

06/10/2026

We can't do Children in Need on the actual night because the Club is busy but we are holding a special night on Friday, 23rd October. You don't have to be a dart or pool player to come along for a fun night. The only thing is you'll have to play in a Pudsey bandage! Open to all.

As well as our Sunday Christmas Carveries on the 13th and 20th December we have space at an additional Christmas Carvery on Wednesday, 9th December. It's a 1pm start for the carvery. Book in if you want to come. (There is a limit on how many we can take).

It's tonight and every Thursday! We've had some new teams join recently - why don't you come along to our FREE Pub Quiz? We have got a table for you!
