This is the first time I've tried to do this but let's see how it goes! We recently had a member in who normally only uses the Club at weekends and he was really surprised at how many different people and groups were using the Club. It made me realise that if you only use the Club one night you don't know what else is happening. The following list is for the current week, not everything happens every week, but we are a busy Club for our community. This list also doesn't include the many music functions we put on. This Father's Day why not come along to our Curry lunch with dessert for only £10. There will be a choice of curries with either cheesecake or apple pie dessert. We are then showing the new Baz Luhrmann film EPiC (Elvis Presley in Concert) which is released on DVD on 15th June. Where else can you get a two course meal and a film for only £10? There is a cottage pie alternative to the cuury. Entry to the film itself is free! You can come just for the curry and not stay for the film or just to the film. You do need to book though.

Update for all Bonus Ball Bingo players. All current players are up to date with payments, however there has been a major change in the way the draw is being made by the new operator Allwyn. From this week there will be two draws with two bonus balls coming out of the machine. This is something that as organisers we hadn't anticipated but to keep the game going in the same format ONLY THE FIRST BONUS BALL DRAWN ON SATURDAY WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE NUMBER FOR EACH WEEK! I have put that in capitals so everyone hopefully understands. This Saturday will see the first number drawn with the new format. Good luck everyone!

I know it's only a friendly but it is England's last game this Wednesday before the tournament kicks off properly on Thursday. England's first competitive match is next Wednesday (17th June) at 9pm. Why not come up and watch England v Costa Rica at 9pm this Wednesday, 10th June? (I know it says 4pm on the poster but that's Florida time!)

We still have a few tickets left for the Denim Roses on the lawn this Sunday (14th June) so contact the Club to get booked in! A couple of things to remember though, first it looks like it is going to be HOT on the day so make sure you have sunscreen with you. We will have brollies available but we don't want anyone to get burnt. Second, pork and chicken rolls will be available between 2pm and 3pm only so if you want food you need to get it before the music starts. It's going to be a great day with great music, all we need is you!

We have the Denim Roses this weekend with our next outdoor music event a great international tribute act with the Abba Gems on Sunday, 5th, July. We have a really incredible duo with all those Abba hits we love. Burgers and hot dogs will be cooked to order.
