🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE FOX & HOUNDS 🚨

Filming for the upcoming documentary at The Fox & Hounds has reportedly been temporarily suspended following an incident involving our landlady, Diane (60s).

Witnesses say tensions began to rise after a member of the production team questioned whether Yorkshire puddings should be served with every Sunday dinner — something Diane was said to strongly disagree with.

The situation escalated further when Diane insisted that:
• “Our steak pies are the best in the world”
• There is a correct way to pour a pint (and they weren’t doing it)

Sources claim the disagreement turned into a “heated exchange”, with one onlooker stating:

“You don’t argue with Diane about gravy or beer… it was never going to end well.”

Filming was halted as matters spilled outside, where Diane reportedly continued defending “proper pub standards” before the situation resulted in her being escorted away on suspicion of anti-social behaviour.

Production crews have since confirmed filming will resume… once “Yorkshire pudding protocol” has been agreed.

We’re really excited to share that the BBC has been filming at The Fox & Hounds over the past few weeks as part of a brand new series celebrating the best country pubs in the UK.

The team spent time capturing what makes our pub so special — from the food and drinks to the people behind it all — and we’re incredibly proud to have been included.

The programme will feature an interview with our very own team and a behind-the-scenes look at a typical day here at the pub.

📺 It’s due to be broadcast on BBC Two at 8:15pm on Tuesday 23rd April — so make sure to tune in!

We’ll share more details soon… but for now, keep an eye out 👀
