December 2015 – Suits you! Manchester Sound-Bites are able to tailor historical pub crawls to fit individual group requirements. Don’t drink, don’t worry! Worried about lasting the distance? Let us shorten the distance to suit. This tailored pub crawl took in fewer pubs and instead visited as many historical sites as possible within close proximity of each other.

October 2015 – The return! Manchester Sound-Bites are back and take another 16 people on a Historical Pub Crawl (2 of 3) around Manchester city centre. Moving ahead in time from historical pub crawl no. 1, crawl no. 2 visits drinking haunts of the industrial revolution and celebrates Manchester’s engineering and scientific achievements that have shaped the world around us. As usual some hidden gems are ferreted out as well as one of Manchester’s best kept secret eateries.

December 2014 – The beginning! Manchester Sound-Bites took 16 people on a Historical Pub Crawl (1 of 3). Pub crawl no. 1 covers some Manchester institutions and looks at Manchester’s beginnings as well as visiting one of Manchester’s much loved architectural icons. Key moments in Manchester’s past are discussed alongside some of Manchester’s lesser known facts. In total nine drinking establishments are frequented and three places of interest visited. (N.B. Drinking alcohol in every venue is not required and the pub crawl is enjoyed by teetotallers as well as real ale champions).

Manchester Sound-Bites are a collection of local people who passionately believe in providing great tasting, healthy food inspired from cuisines around the world accompanied with epic stories from Manchester’s colourful past. Through our storytelling we hope to inspire & pass on our passion for all things Manchester. Our aim is to delight your taste buds, excite your intellect and swell your civic pride. Our events are relaxed, open to everyone and hosted in locations of character for a unique dining experience.

We also run a trilogy of ‘Historical Pub Crawls’ around Manchester city centre. These are extremely popular and take you on a journey from Manchester’s beginnings up to contemporary society. The pub crawls include imbibing in some of Manchester’s drinking institutions as well as seeking out some truly hidden gems. A lunch break is included where we dine at an out of the way spot known only to locals, expect to be wowed. Each pub crawl involves approximately 3 miles of walking and lasts from midday until 8 PM.
