As of today, Hetherington’s is officially closed.

From first pints to last orders, quizzes, laughs, celebrations, commiserations and everything in between – thank you to every single customer, regular, friend and client who walked through our doors over the years.

It’s our first SpeedQuizzing night of 2026, and honestly… it feels like forever since the last one 🧠🍻

To kick off the new year properly, we’re hosting a special Big Hevs Quiz of 2025 - with a whole round dedicated to the moments, madness and memories from the last 12 months. Think you remember it all? This is your chance to prove it.

Quizmaster Mark will be at the helm as always, spinning the tunes, delivering the (questionable) jokes, and keeping things moving. We’ll be getting started from around 8pm.

Hetherington’s will be open from noon for drinks and refreshments if you’re making the trek from the city centre up to the stadium, so be sure to come in and grab a cold beer, soft drink, tea or coffee, or a snack!

And don’t forget to call back in on your way back from the match!
