Our amazing team have been busy baking up a storm, and we’ll have plenty of delicious homemade cakes and sweet treats available! 🧁😋

Every penny raised will go towards supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, so please come along, grab a slice (or two! 😉) and help us raise as much as we can. 💚

🌉✨ A little piece of our canal history…

We thought we’d take a step back in time today with this lovely old photograph of the bridge, alongside how it looks now. 📸

Bridges like this were once such an important part of everyday canal life — connecting the towpath, the waterway and the local community. Before the days of busy roads and modern transport, the canal was a real working route, with boats carrying goods and people passing through the area.

Looking at the old photograph, it’s fascinating to imagine what this spot would have been like all those years ago… the boats on the canal, people going about their daily lives and the pub being part of the local scene. 🍻🚤

Fast forward to today and, although the world around it has changed, that beautiful stretch of canal and the bridge are still here for us to enjoy. ❤️

❤️ AS SUMMER STARTS TO COME TO AN END…

We thought it was time for a little appreciation post. 🥹☀️

What a summer it’s been! From sunny afternoons in the pub garden, to busy Friday nights, football, cocktails, celebrations, family days and everything in between — you’ve made it one to remember. 🍻🍹⚽

When we look back at how much this pub has grown, we honestly couldn’t be prouder. But more than anything, we’re proud of the community that has grown alongside it. ❤️

The familiar faces who pop in every week, the new faces who have become regulars, the families, friends, local businesses and everyone who chooses to spend their time with us — you’re what makes this place what it is.

So, we’ve put together a few photos of some of our favourite people and moments from the summer. 📸❤️ You might spot yourself… and if you do, just know how much we appreciate you being part of our journey!

Every busy weekend, every laugh across the bar, every celebration and every “see you next week” means more than you probably realise.

So as we move into the next season, we just want to say…
