🕰️📸 THROWBACK THURSDAY — BOOTHSTOWN THROUGH THE YEARS! 📸🕰️

For this week’s , we’re taking a little trip back in time… and this one is extra special! ❤️

The first photo was kindly shared with us by one of our customers and shows her sister at Boothstown Canal Basin way back in the 1900s! 😍

Just imagine what this place must have looked and felt like back then… 👀

And swipe through the rest of the photos to see Boothstown Canal Basin as it was being built, along with some fantastic old photographs of The Moorings itself! 🏗️🚤🍻

It’s amazing to look at these pictures and realise just how much has changed… while that same stretch of canal has continued to be part of the community for generations. ❤️

From construction and canal boats to the pub we know and love today — there’s a LOT of history right on our doorstep!

We absolutely love seeing old photos like these, and we know many of you have your own memories of Boothstown. 🥰

👇 Do you recognise anyone in these photos?
👇 Have you got an old photo or memory of Boothstown, the canal basin or The Moorings?

We’d LOVE to see them! 📸❤️

😂🚨 STOP SCROLLING… WE HAVE A VERY SERIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT. 🚨😂

THIS IS ACE. 🐶

And yes… he’s 100% aware that he’s ridiculously cute. Just look at the face. 👀🥹

Ace has already mastered the most important pub skills:

🐾 Look adorable
🐾 Make eye contact
🐾 Wait patiently for someone to fuss him
🐾 Contribute absolutely NOTHING towards the bar tab 😂🍻

He may be small… but that face is already giving “I’ll have whatever you’re having.” 🤣

We have a feeling Ace is going to be causing quite a stir at The Moorings… and judging by those puppy eyes, we don’t stand a chance. ❤️

Everyone say HELLO ACE! 👋🐶

And please… try not to fall in love with him.
We already have. 😂❤️

🐶🍻😂

🦢🤍 SWAN FAMILY UPDATE! 🤍🦢

We know just how much you all LOVE our little Bridgewater Canal family, so we thought it was time for another update! 🥰

Take a look at the photos… 👀

📸 LEFT: Our very first photo of the swan family
📸 RIGHT: Our latest photo — just 4 months later!

Look how much our little cygnets have grown! 🥹🦢🤍

It honestly feels like only yesterday they were tiny, fluffy little balls of feathers following Mum and Dad along the canal… and now look at them! 😍

We’ve loved watching them grow up right outside the pub, and judging by the attention they get every time we post them, we know we’re not the only ones! ❤️

So here’s your latest instalment of “The Boothstown Swan Family” 🦢😂

We’ll keep the updates coming… because we know you’ll be keeping an eye on them too! 👀🤍
