Today we once again welcomed local charity, Greater Manchester Blood Bikes Charity to the club for one of their regular volunteer meetings but this time with a difference. They in turn were joined by Mr Mark Llewellin DL The High Sheriff of Greater Manchester. It was an opportunity for them to spread the word about the amazing work the charity do in the Greater Manchester area with the local representative of the Sovereign in attendance. It was a massive day for the charity including the context of the potential doors this opens and we were pleased to host them again. We also took the opportunity to formally be presented with the Blood Spill Kit, kindly donated by Ian Oneill of ROC Fire & Security to compliment the Defib, acquired by the club via fund raising from their generous members. The High Sheriff oversaw the presentation and was very complimentary of the club and the work it does for the local community and of course the charity.
