We're bringing something new 🤩 to the Carlton Club this Saturday 🙌, a special 'Spook Our Club' food takeover from The Little Sri Lankan 🇱🇰 who will be providing tasty, traditional Sri Lankan dishes 😋 (3-9pm) during the Semi Peppered 🫑 & Building;Bridges 👷 Spook Our Club Family Fun Day & Club Night 🎃.

Enjoy authentic family recipes, cooked from the heart ❤️ whilst out for a Halloween-themed kids' day out 🧛🏻‍ with craft workshops 🎃 & games 🍩 to keep those youngins busy until 7pm. Then from 8pm we're inside for a fundraiser club night 🕺.

What’s your festive treat? Perhaps some delicious 🍫 , mince pies 🥧 or something else entirely.

Ours is this delicious dark ale from Red Willow, who pondered what would happen if they added mince pie’s to their delicious Treacle Treat which we had on not too long ago 🤔. So… the Red Willow elves rolled up their sleeves and got to work, resulting in a splendid beer 🍺 that is truly no short of a Christmas miracle. 🙌

Head down tonight for some pre Christmas fun 🤩 and enjoy where you can enjoy this lovely tipple with at the Carlton Jazz Club tonight from 8pm 💛.

Three delicious, special edition, Vocation pudding themed Stouts 😍, perfect as a Christmas tipple 🎄 and for the surrounding months.

Coming in strong at 12.5% abv is the Christmas Pudding & Cherry Brandy Imperial Stout aptly named ‘May Contain Sixpence’ 🤩. Rich and sticky imperial stout blended with Brandy Barrel-Aged Imperial Kirsch. Thick and sticky with dried fruit and spice aromas. All the flavours of Christmas pudding doused in flaming Cherry Brandy. 🍒🥃

Our second course of dessert is the Sticky Toffee Stout celebrating a classic winter warmer 🔥 and Lake District delicacy, Sticky Toffee Pudding! This easy going stout (5.8% abv) is rich, luxurious and full to the brim with nostalgic, feel good flavours of decadent toffee and rich caramel sponge combine with roasted barley and dark crystal malts for a sumptuous finish. Notes of molasses and a subtle salty backnote ensure this sweet dessert doesn't make for a sickly stout.😋

Your final filling takes you to the footholds of the Black Forest mountains 🏔️ for a devilishly wicked, 10%, Chocolate and Cherry Imperial Stout 🍫🍒, full of unexpected turns. ‘Black Forest Gateau’ as the name goes uses roasted barley and dark crystal malts create a sweet and sumptuous chocolate stout base, rounded out with bold notes of tart sour cherry for the perfect balance of sweet and bitter. A creamy and rich finish makes this imperial stout a dessert in itself 😍.

Tonight we are serving our lovely burger menu 🍔 & hot dogs 🌭 , such as this flavour bomb of a vegan cheeseburger in sourdough bun served with rainbow slaw, pickle & siracha mayo! 😆 This one can convert any non-vegan believer, trust me.

Behind it are two wonderful cask ales 🍻:

Red Willow’s Faithless 180 - Treacle Treat. A beguiling autumnal treat 🍁, brewed with Crystal and Black Malt with a generous helping of Treacle in the Whirlpool and Fermenter delivering a layer of cinder toffee over a smooth Dark Ale. 5.5% 😋

Magic Rock’s Hat-Trick - Modern Blonde Bitter 🤩. A satisfyingly smooth body along with whole leaf Cascade and fruity Mandarina Bavaria and Centennial T-90 hops make for a deliciously refreshing and moreish pre or post game pint (or three🍻). 3.7% 😍
