We are back!

I can’t believe it but tonight The Rivals is back!!! It’s the first (private) show of Lauryn Redding’s incredible one woman show and we’re honoured to be catering for it. Can’t wait to see you and serve you drinks. Book tickets and come see us again. We miss you x

Almost three years ago now we were given the incredible opportunity to become part of the Royal Exchange Theatre. We of course grabbed it with both hands, threw our collective love for food, drink, impeccable service and theatre into the mix and soon became ‘The Rivals’.
The beginning wasn’t easy, but the team at the Theatre wrapped their arms around us and helped our business blossom whilst we learnt all the ins and outs of theatre life. Our fantastic team, many we inherited and some who jumped on for the ride carried us through with passion and joy in every shift. Year one was a learning curve, year two was on the up, heading into year three, things were becoming really exciting. Then there was COVID and the world came to a stand still.
It’s an extremely worrying and uncertain time for us all and supporters of the Royal Exchange may have already seen that they as an organisation have had to make some heartbreaking decisions in order to survive. Along with the privilege we were given to grow our team and business in their home comes the reality that in times of crisis their decisions become our decisions.
So it’s with a heavy heart we have to tell our loyal customers that it may be some time until we welcome you back to The Rivals in its full glory. But please be sure of one thing - we stand proud with the team at the Royal Exchange and will be ready and waiting to be part of the wonderful creative space once again.
Our team are incredible, loyal and understanding. We cannot thank them enough for their continued support. We would also like to thank each and every one of you that has been part of our journey so far.
We will see you soon.

I just had this for my dinner! Zaatar spiced cod, crispy celeriac, celeriac slaw, saffron hollandaise.. deeeeelicious! As always the guys doing me proud, delivering the new menu dishes with passion and care. ♥️
