To those who have sent messages advertising their services Thank you but, the Red Lion is sadly now closed as Chris and Lesley have retired.

A family oriented pub, with play area and brilliant staff that will welcome you on arrival and keep you entertained all day and night.

I apologise to anyone who has sent messages of late to the Red Lion and not received an answer. Sadly the Red Lion closed a while.ago when Chris and Lesley retired after 20 plus years serving -customers words.not mine - the best Tetley Bitter in Atherton. It was a hard decision to make because we loved every minute serving the people of Atherton. But, we are getting a but.long in the tooth and it was time to exchange the barrels for comfy chairs.
