Local street food The Back Road Smokehouse will be serving some awesome, delicious food in the beer garden from 3pm onwards - this will mean that the kitchen will be closed in the evening, although, vegetarian and vegan options will be available from the kitchen (so we can cater for all) from 6pm - 8pm

SIX NATIONS STARTS TOMORROW!!
From tomorrow, during each game, we will be serving chilli con carne with rice OR chips and a pint for £10.
This will only be served during all rugby matches, which will be shown in the top and lower bar of the pub to ensure everyone can watch.

From Wednesday 4th February we will be doing a February special- 2 main meals for £25, this will be lunch times and evenings. Book or just walk in.
Serving times will be as usual, 12-2 and 6-8 Wednesday - Saturday.
Sundays will be 2 roasts for £25, 12-2.30.

Please note that this offer excludes steaks and mixed grills, steaks are offered at 2 for £30.

UPDATE!! The renovation is taking a little longer than anticipated, due to bodge jobs from previous owners, Dave, Pam, Chris and Ed have been working non stop to get things done as quickly as possible, we will be closed completely tomorrow, Thursday 22 Jan, to get more work done.
We will be closed Friday day, and plan to be open Friday evening, but it may be that it is a very limited menu. We will keep you all updated in regards to the work, and we are super excited about the outcome to make things easier in the kitchen and potwash area 🤞🫣

From this coming Monday, 19/1/26, the pub will be shut for 2 days, from Wednesday 21/1, the pub will be open for drinks.
This is so renovation work can be made to the potwash area and kitchen.
We will try and open the kitchen back up as soon as possible, though it may be a very limited menu.
We will be aiming to complete this work as quickly as possible to ensure it doesn’t affect our customers.
Thank you for your understanding, we do apologise for any inconvenience caused in advance.

This New Year’s Eve we will be having a disco from 8.30pm and to see the new year in, we want you to wear something sparkly, because who doesn’t love a bit o’ glitz?!
