Introducing May's Wine of The Month 🍾

We thought that St George's Day would be the best day to introduce next month's Wine of The Month from Silverhand Estate , an award-winning sparkling wine producer from Kent, widely recognised for its innovative and environmentally conscious approach to winemaking.

🥂Silver Reign Brut NV is a fresh, elegant sparkling wine made using the Charmat method, blending Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. It offers delicate floral aromas, notes of pear, citrus, and stone fruits, and a crisp, refreshing finish.

🥂Silver Reign Organic Rosé Brut NV, crafted from Pinot Noir, delivers vibrant flavours of wild strawberries and ripe summer fruits, creating a lively and refined sparkling rosé.

Both award-winning wines are made using the Charmat method, also known as 'Cuve Close' or Tank Method, which is widely associated with the production of Prosecco in Italy.

Both wines will be brought in exclusively for the Month of May, so make sure to pencil us in your diary next month.

Every Friday is Curry Night at The Crown & Cushion.

Our chefs are cooking up another round of freshly made curries, using quality ingredients and plenty of flavour. The dishes change regularly, so there’s always something new to try.

This week we’re serving:
Chicken Saag - Tender chicken cooked with spinach, warming spices, and a rich, comforting sauce.
Subz Miloni (Vegan) - Mixed seasonal vegetables in a vibrant spinach and herb curry, finished with vegan cream.
