We love being part of a vibrant market town, filled with independent businesses, artisans, crafters and makers.

This weekend Zoom Events are hosting a market in the town, so why don’t you come down and have a wander around the stalls, and then to fill the rest of your day:
☕️ Call into Roost Coffee for a coffee and some fresh roasted beans to take home.
📚 Pay a visit to Kemps General Store & Bookshop for a new book or two.
🫙 Stop by The Beecham Weigh for their vast array of eco friendly products and refillable produce.
📖 Stroll up the shambles and admire handcrafted candles, paintings and woodwork, peruse boxes of books and films, and much more.
🍿 Swing by the box office at The Palace Independent Cinema or The Milton Rooms to see what films and shows are on this weekend.
🍺 And of course, don’t forget to pay us a visit at BCB Taphouse where Meanwood Pizza Co are serving handmade pizzas from 12-8!

The sun is ✨shining✨ over our Taphouse this afternoon. We don’t know how long it will last but we’re loving it while it’s here!

It’s a Bad Kitty brew day!

If you haven’t heard, Bad Kitty is our 5.5% Vanilla Porter; a decadent and moreish chocolate-vanilla dream. Named after the antics of one of the original brewhouse cats, Bad Kitty has been with us for an incredible 15 years. Here’s to many more!🍻

We’ve also launched a new golden ale this week, and our team has been busy racking a brand new 3.9% pale ale today, so stay tuned for those!
