It’s a hot topic right now, so let’s clear something up - you won’t ever see Gen AI being used on our social medias, in our Taphouse, on our webshop, or on our beers themselves.

At its core, brewing is about passion, creativity, and community, in a way that simply cannot be replicated by Gen AI. That is why every Brass Castle beer you see has been crafted by a team of real people - every recipe written, every label designed, every social media post across your screen, all done by real humans.

We appreciate that some people find Gen AI to be a useful tool, but you won’t find it used to advertise any of our products or places.

With only a week to go until our birthday celebrations, we wanted to reveal our BIRTHDAY BEER!🍻 swipe to reveal ➡️👀

Pirate Democracy is a 7% NEIPA, with artwork designed by the incredible original_pumpkin.

🏴‍☠️We’ve had a lot of people asking, why pirates?
It best sums up our ethos. Our independent brewery sails amongst the international behemoths of beer. We’re a band of merry misfits, proudly self-governing, nimble, friendly, and always doing our own thing (although we do sail our ship within the lines of the law, unlike the pirates of legend!)

This will be available to pre-order from next week, available in keg and 440ml cans! Vegan and Certified Gluten-Free.

This month is jam packed with good times - quiz nights, open mics, live music, and our brewery’s birthday party!

Join us on Saturday 19th September for a pirate themed birthday party, celebrating 15 years of Brass Castle in the best way we know how… with good beers in great company! There’ll be food, music, face painting, and a free beer for anyone in pirate fancy dress, so come and party with us!

✨WE ARE HIRING - HEAD BREWER✨

We are looking for someone who is passionate about great beer but also understands that running a successful brewery is about much more than just brewing great beer. Brass Castle prides itself on its team ethos, and we are looking to welcome a team-player into the fold.

You will be organised, commercially-aware and able to balance quality with efficiency and the practical realities of a small independent brewery. You will take pride in your work, lead by example and be willing to get stuck in. Importantly, you will have the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to take ownership of the brewing operation and help Brass Castle continue to develop and grow.

After 10 incredible years as part of the Brass Castle team, Sam has declared it is time to move onto pastures new. He will be departing the team in October to pursue something more outdoorsy, which (as anyone who has ever had the pleasure of knowing him will confirm) is a very well suited career path for this human embodiment of a leafy plant.

Sam; words cannot accurately depict how much you will be missed. We are eternally grateful for the skill and passion you have contributed to the team over the years, and we wish you all the very best with your new chosen path. We hope you’ll take every opportunity presented to join us for shenanigans and chaos, because we can’t imagine a Brass Castle without you.

🩷Bad Kitty - the OG. The one with the cult following. The 5.5% chocolate vanilla dream of a porter.

💖Very Bad Kitty - the one we originally brewed for gyle 666. The one you’ve asked and asked for. The devilishly rich, decadent and moreish 8.4% imperial vanilla porter.
