Hi its kev just a quick update we have had a fantastic weekend and had loads of support with the new bar thankyou everyone who came in.

Over the weekend it seems that the bar is not for everyone as some people like a quiet drink and dont like kids around when in a pub. We have asked all kids to be out the bar for 9pm on friday and saturdays. There is plenty of pubs available in maltby including Drinks & Ink and the don john there is also other around that dont have kids in them. All these pubs will be open as normal on Fridays and saturdays from this week.

We are trying our best to bring maltby lots of different types of places to go including a place for all family's as there is nowhere for them to go. By doing this im hearing people slagging me and the businesses off as this isn't the place for them. Please use one of the other pubs that does suit your night out. No one is making each person drink in a certain pub. Also some pubs not just mine but lots of others in the area are not getting the customers through the door to keep them open for hours when there is no one in to support the massive amount it cost for them to be open. They will only be open when they are being used. Please use the bars if you want them to stay open thankyou.

If anyone has a problem with any if this please contact me direct or pull me to the side when u see me in 1 of the pubs thankyou.

This is a ticketed event and they are selling fast! £10 per ticket strictly over 18's only!!!!

This is for all the people that want to use Drinks & Ink over the weekend we are sorry about the bar being closed but we have had a massive weekends opening spotlight and this has taken all our attention we are working to bring drinks & ink back open from Monday and will let everyone know the opening hours in due course thankyou for all your patients with this. WOW!! 🤩 What an absolutely fantastic night we had last night for our GRAND OPENING! 🎉🍻

A massive thank you to everyone who came down and made our opening night such a huge success! The atmosphere was incredible, the DJ had the place bouncing, and it was brilliant seeing so many familiar and new faces! ❤️

Today we will be closing Drinks & Ink at 6PM, so everyone can come and enjoy the entertainment at our new venue.

Don't worry though, Drinks & Ink will be back to its normal Friday and Saturday opening hours from next weekend! ❤️

We really can't thank everyone enough for the support you've shown us with our new venture. It's been an incredible journey getting The Spotlight Bar ready, and seeing everyone enjoying it makes all the hard work worthwhile! 🙌

So we have got to a stage where we can finally open the bar we have some things left to finish but these can be done at a later date if anyone wants to try the bar out tonight before the official open you are more than welcome to call in for a pint or a game on the tables you are more than welcome from 7pm tonight.

The grand opening of The Spotlight Bar is this Friday 9th october we will be starting with opening the bar with all the pool, darts and snooker available.

We are still waiting on the company to fit the interactive darts this will be done very soon. We are also waiting for the same company to fit the interactive system to the tvs but this will not effect this weekend as we dont need it to open.

The food sections will be coming soon when the burger bar and dessert counter being built asap. We will then be offering plenty of excellent food options when this is complete but until then there is plenty of snacks available.

I will be making a walk around video later on today when the last bits are complete and uploading later.

Just for this weekend so we can make sure everything goes smooth we will be closing Drinks & Ink at 6pm friday Saturday and Sunday then from next week if will be back to normal with entertainment on Saturday from 7pm till 9pm before the entertainment starts at 9pm in spotlight.
