🤠🎸 WELL, WHAT A SUMMER IT’S BEEN…! 🎸🤠
The Southern Roots wagon has certainly clocked up a few miles this summer, and what a ride it’s been! ❤️
From Dover Market Square with the support of Dover District Council, to the The Boars Head, The Red Lion, The Royal Albion, Golden Arrow, The Cider Works, The Bean and Barrel and The Mill Inn, we’ve been lucky enough to play some fantastic venues and meet some brilliant people along the way.
And then we rounded it all off with a fantastic weekend at the Faversham Hopfestival, playing not one but two stages to fantastic crowds. 🍻🎶
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has come along, sung with us, danced with us, clapped along, stomped their boots and generally made every gig such a bloody good time. ❤️
We’ve had an absolute ball.
And we really can’t say enough about the importance of supporting the smaller pubs, clubs, cafés and venues that give local musicians a place to play. Without those places, there’s no local live music scene — so every pint, coffee, ticket, dance and singalong really does make a difference. 🍻🎸 Social media is a great way to get our message across so please like and follow our page and help us spread the word.
But there’s no time to sit around in your rocking chair on the porch just yet…
