'BVH Volunteer in the Spotlight' is Michael Charleton ✨️

Come July, Mike will have been a BVH Trustee for a quarter of a century and, for some years now, has worked tirelessy as BVH operations manager and Treasurer, duties that take up a significant amount of his time. This has only increased as the Hall has become, once again our community's focal point.

Of special note, Mike was in the forefront of seeing Friday's cafe-shop piloted and established from March last year. He is also the man to thank for sourcing fresh eggs and newly baked bread.

Mike's selfless devotion to our and the wider community also includes two other charities offering access and boating on the Thames for the disabled plus underprivileged children, plus he also also finds time to act as a school placement moderator!

Four of our outstanding Cafe/shop volunteer bakers and barristas (Sheena, Amanda, Sandra and Inger) underwent barrista training this week with Vicky from Moneyrow Beans. Come and see them in action tomorrow 😊☕️
