Located in the heart of Wales’ beautiful Monmouthshire, and the stunning historical village of Magor.
Opened in 2020 by a consortium of local business people with the aim of restoring the feel & ambiance of a traditional village pub.
Set in a stunning and historically Grade II listed building, The Golden Lion boasts a music and sports themed public bar, tastefully decorated lounge and restaurant, a beautiful south-facing beer garden and a function room to host your perfect party or business meeting.
At the Golden Lion you will be greeted with a warm welcome where you can enjoy delicious traditional pub food (including an exciting snack menu with Tapas options), a selection of beers, ciders and cask ales, a wide variety of fine wines, gins and spirits, all served with personal table service.
