Dating back to the 15th century, The Green Dragon is a historic New Forest pub with a rich past and plenty of character. Once a wheelwright’s and coffin maker’s, it became a beer house over 200 years ago and is now a much-loved local overlooking a peaceful stream, where wild ponies, pigs, cows, and donkeys are often seen wandering by. Inside, you’ll find a cosy, traditional pub full of charm. Outside, the beer garden features a heated canopy for year-round al fresco dining, along with a children’s play area. Ideal for family gatherings, classic Sunday roasts, or a relaxing pint after a forest walk, The Green Dragon offers a warm welcome in the heart of the New Forest.
