So that's it from us, Nick and Zoe, we have officially handed over the keys. It was an epic move and we would like to say thank you to some wonderfully special people who helped us with it, John Smith, Ollie Corrigan, Caroline Barton, Paddy Flannery, Ian and Helen Crosfield, Les, Woody Woodyatt, Ella Jones, Kirsty Jones, Sacha Jones, Bren Harrington, Callum Frazer and Graeme, we couldn't have done it without you guys.
We would also like to thank everyone who has supported us during our time there, you have made that little pub special again and you made it a pleasure for us. We now hand the reigns (and this page) over to Debbie and Brian who have the passion to take it even further and we wish them the best of luck. Please stay tuned to this page for their upcoming announcements, take care and we will see you all at some point in The Star for a drink. Love Nick and Zoe xx

Well what an awful year this has been. We have lost some amazing characters and not been able to bid them farewell properly. They will always be a part of this place. We have missed all of you all the time we have been closed. Good friends, good times have always been at the heart of us and this is a very empty place without you all. Let's hope 2021 brings better and happier times for all of us. From Nick and Zoe (and Tez of course) have a very Happy New Year and hopefully we will see you all very soon ###

Absolutely gutted. The new Tier 2 rules are basically the old Tier 3 so we still can't open next week. We will be putting the Christmas decorations up ready for the day we can open and welcome you all in. Thinking of you all and missing all our regulars. Thank you to our team for supporting us and staying loyal through this rubbish time. Love you and miss you ladies xx

Absolutely gutted today. I was in Lidl and saw all the sweets and treats I would normally be buying for our kids Halloween party. Can't do it this year, our final year, and so upset. I have always loved our parties. I have loved seeing our little regulars growing up and growing in confidence. Will be thinking of you all Halloween night ###

Dear all,

The current restrictions have impacted us quite severely as has the change in weather. We are having to look at ways of cutting our overheads to some degree in order to get through this phase. To that end, we will be closing at 7pm Mon to Thursday until further notice. Fri to Sunday will remain 10pm closing. We hope you understand and will continue to support us as much as the rules allow.

This decision is also precautionary in the hope that we can protect our regulars and possibly avoid the area becoming one of the very high risk areas which would force us to shut altogether.

We want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have continued to support us throughout all this change and uncertainty. A very special thank you also goes to our amazing team who have worked their socks off for us.
