ANNOUNCEMENT

Hi guys.... I'm really sorry MC and Nightcrawlers had to cancel their gig on Sat due to personal reasons.

However we are still having a bit of a party as this is going to be the start of our last week running the Lion

On December 1st I will be handing it over to someone new. We wish him well and hope customers old and new support him.

Carley and I would like to thank the locals that supported us...those that didn't... your loss, you missed out. Thank you to all our customers, diners, drinkers and friends.

Also thank you to all our previous staff. You were all amazing.

We have had an absolute blast for the last 3 years and wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Carley and Fish moved on in April as you know. They did a brilliant job looking after the place, working hard and also partying the nights away. I'm sure we all have lots of memories and stories to tell from these epic nights.

Now it's time for us to move on. Elliot has been absolutely amazing stepping into the kitchen and taking over, as Toby has been in the bar / restaurant. Ben... well Ben has been Ben. Without these three guys behind me I would have struggled and it would have been impossible to carry on. We have had some challenges to say the least. What a team. Thank you.

Carley, Fish, Amelia and new baby Iris will be joining us this weekend to say bye. We would love you all to pop in, say hi and have a drink with us.

Elliot and Toby will be helping the new tenant out to start with and see how it goes.

Me, I've met some great people and while it's been hard work I've thoroughly enjoyed the chats, late nights, music, good company and the witty banter with you all and I will still be around for a while ..........
