☀️ HOT WEATHER NOTICE THIS WEEK ☀️
With temperatures set to soar over the coming days, we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to enjoy the sunshine with us at the Star! At the same time, the wellbeing of our team remains a priority.
For those working behind the bar and in the kitchen, it’s going to feel considerably hotter than the temperature outside. Between the ovens, grills and fryers, some of our staff may end up feeling more cooked than the food!
To help everyone stay at their best, our team will be taking extra breaks to cool down and rehydrate. This may mean that during quieter periods the kitchen briefly pauses service so staff can escape the heat for a few minutes. Service will resume as normal afterwards and we’ll keep everyone updated if needed.
We kindly ask for a little patience if things take slightly longer than usual. A smile and a bit of understanding are always appreciated, especially when everyone’s working through tropical temperatures.
We’re doing everything we can to keep both our guests and staff comfortable and safe. Please remember to drink plenty of water, wear your sunscreen, and if you spot one of us fanning ourselves with a menu, just know we’re in full summer survival mode! 😅
