As many of you are aware, today we are hosting the Myles Smith UK Album Party at The Sugar Loaf.

To allow us time to prepare for the event, the pub will be closing to the public at 4:00pm and will reopen at 6:00pm.

Please bear in mind that capacity is limited. We will do our very best to accommodate as many people as possible, but for anyone who is unable to make it into the event this evening, we sincerely apologise and thank you for your understanding.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back from 6pm for what promises to be a fantastic evening! 🍻🎶

We are now fully booked for roast dinners today due to a private event taking place from 3pm onwards.

Whilst this is fantastic news for the business, we do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to those who were hoping to join us for food today.

A huge thank you to everyone who has booked with us and continues to support The Sugar Loaf 💚

The bar remains open as usual, and we look forward to welcoming all our booked guests throughout the day.

Wow. What a day ❤️

I am completely overwhelmed by how today went. Seeing our community come together, support one another, and create such an incredible atmosphere has honestly meant the world to me.

The very first New Town Community Festival exceeded everything I could have hoped for. The performers were absolutely outstanding, and I can’t thank them enough for giving their time and talent to be part of something so special.

Throughout the day, all I heard were people saying what a fantastic day they had, how brilliant the entertainment was, what an amazing vibe there was, and how they can’t wait for the next one. Hearing that makes every bit of hard work worthwhile.

I’ll be sharing a more detailed post tomorrow, along with lots of photos from the day, but tonight I just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you to every resident, sponsor, volunteer, performer, local business, church, school, stallholder, and supporter who played a part in making today such a success.

A special thank you to Jess & Sammy who work for the Social Justice Unit, at Luton Borough Council. It has been an absolute pleasure working alongside you every step of the way. Thank you also to the our local councillors who believed in me and the steering group members who believed in this vision and helped bring it to life.

Overwhelmed is an understatement.

I am so grateful to be surrounded by such a wonderful community. You make every day a little easier, a little brighter, and a lot more meaningful.

Tonight, I’m going to bed a very happy woman.
