February may be wet but it’s certainly not dull !

Another weekend of 6 Nations rugby with England travelling across the border to face “Auld Enemy” Scotland on Saturday.

Just to let you know, we’re still here and all very excited.
Mrs Lovett has been very busy in her pie shop next to Mr Todd’s barbers and baked a limited number of pies so bookings are absolutely necessary if you want to take advantage of Rachel’s budget busting offer.

A slight oversight here but no-one can say we’re not taking “Stop-tober” seriously!!
Business as usual from next weekend (18th Oct) when licensing resumes as normal.

“Last orders please….!” The time has finally arrived when we hang up the glass cloth for the last time before heading off into the sunset -with a large g&t obviously! The Bright Star is now officially on the market and up for sale ready to receive its new Landlord/Landlady or custodian of this beautiful building set in the magnificent English countryside. We would love to welcome friends both old and new for a glass of liquid happiness before we go for memories or simply old time sake. A huge debt of gratitude to everyone that has supported The Bright Star over the years and particularly those since we arrived in 2019. The flag(s) will continue to fly proudly for as long as we remain and hopefully much longer still. Have a great remainder of your summer everyone and we hope to see you soon.
Oh and may we be the first to wish you all a very Happy Christmas!!

First meals served from our newly refurbished Garden Bar at The Bright Star.
From next week, we will be opening from 10am -Tuesday-Sunday but only when the sun is shining so take a peek out of the window before you set off.
An exciting new menu all with a healthy twist and something for everyone and nothing over £10 !! (except our freshly prepared stone baked pizzas that is!)
