An Update from The Windmill ❤️
It’s with a heavy heart that we share this…
Since Christmas, we’ve seen a steady decline in general footfall during our regular opening hours. Like many in hospitality right now, quieter days have become increasingly difficult to sustain — and unfortunately, we’ve reached a point where we’ve had to make a tough decision.
The Windmill will now return to its original focus of private event hire and exclusive bookings for all occasions.
This doesn’t mean it’s the end — far from it.
We will still be hosting our own events, from quiz nights to themed evenings and more… just in a more structured way. These will be announced and promoted as they’re arranged, and we’d love to see as many of you there as possible.
To our loyal regulars — thank you. Your support genuinely means the world to us, and this decision hasn’t been made lightly. These are challenging times, and we’ve had to make the call to protect the future of The Windmill.
This is not goodbye — it’s just a new chapter.
