Since 2012, Windswept Brewing Co has been creating an award-winning range of traditional and contemporary craft beers in Lossiemouth, Moray. The Windswept range is also available via our online shop at windsweptbrewing.com and we ship UK-wide. From the outset our focus has always been to produce great tasting beer, capturing and preserving the flavours of all of the ingredients. What doesn’t go in to our beer is as important as what does go in. We do not use fining additives which means our beers are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Our extensive range of beers has something to suit everyone's taste - pale ales, IPAs, stouts, porters, barrel-aged, fruity, hoppy, hazy......
The owners, Nigel Tiddy and Al Read, both previously RAF pilots, relish the wild outdoors, and they have made sure that Windswept Brewing Co captures the spirit of rugged adventure found here on the edge of the Scottish Highlands and even the name comes from the windswept beaches found in Lossiemouth. With their love of the outdoors is also the understanding that a great pint always tastes best when you’ve earned it and so the beers and the brand reflects that ethos. In May 2018 we opened the Windswept Tap Room which serves a range of our beers in cask, keg and bottle as well as coffee, tea and soft drinks. This also provides the perfect location for our tours and tastings which are proving popular with our customers.
