We’re a dog friendly pub, so don’t hesitate to bring your faithful four-legged friend with you, they are more than welcome in the bar and garden! If you ask a member of the team, we’d be more than happy to bring your dog a bowl of water and a tasty treat. We are proud that the Walnut Tree has been granted "Asset of Community Value" status, which was renewed July 2019, protecting this 150 year old pub for years to come. Real ales are usually on tap here, courtesy of Kent’s own Shepherd Neame brewery as well as a carefully selected wine list. The Walnut Tree is also available for events and functions; parties, wakes, private hire etc - particularly during the Summer, where you can enjoy our lovely sunny garden or gazebos and a covered area with heating in the colder seasons. If you are looking for something to do at the weekend browse through our events to see what’s happening. From Karaoke evenings to our famous Saturday Sounds live music events, there is plenty to keep you entertained.
