Fantastic to have one of my first head chefs from Ducks at Le Marche Noir, 30 years ago, in for the last night at Ducks Inn with Head Chef of today, Scott Leadley .

The Duck family together in Ducks Inn for the last time. A huge thanks to Michele and Malcolm Og who have been fantastic over the past few months. They both started on the restaurant floor at 14 and have never been shy to in put.

My wife Fiona has been a rock all the way though allowing me to be me. She rarely moans a out my late nights. I have a text I send her,......back in half an hour, if not retread text......

Fantastic to see one of my first friends in hospitality last night, the legend that is James Thomson of the Witchery and Prestonfield......spent lots of time taking the P out of Thomson❤️

A man of......great integrity....A great operator, it is a testimony to him that he has so many staff who have been with him for so many years ....as he has always said it's labout the team, not about you...

Thank you JT for all your help, wise counsel and above all your friendship...
