Assistant Manager (Maternity Cover) – The Village Inn
30 Hours Per Week from mid August

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at The Village Inn Longframlington on a maternity cover basis.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with hospitality experience who enjoys working in a busy pub environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

About Us

The Village Inn is a cosy country pub serving local ales, quality food, and live sport in a warm and relaxed setting. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly atmosphere for both locals and visitors alike.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the pub alongside the management team. Duties will include:

* Supervising staff and leading shifts
* Delivering excellent customer service
* Assisting with stock control and cellar management
* Opening and closing the pub
* Maintaining high standards throughout the venue
* Supporting food and drink service
* Helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers

What We’re Looking For

* Previous experience in hospitality or pub management
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* A positive, hardworking attitude
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Personal license holder preferred but not essential

What We Offer
