Thank you to everyone who made a booking for our Angela’s x Filly Brook Margate takeover, all tables were snapped up pretty much straight away which was a little unexpected but amazing to see the love for Angela’s and Chef Rob’s cooking out there in our community!

The good news is the Angela’s team are coming up to London a little earlier now so we have been able to add in some extra tables at either 3pm or 3.30pm which are live now.

Always wanting to shine a light on the djs who play at Filly Brook, we sat down with our regular duo, and , ahead of their next session at FB on Friday 6th November.

Darren and Kev have been part of the London music scene for years, running record shops and throwing parties across London so are old hands in the game.

Hear their stories in the video, then come and catch them play, which is always a good time!

It’s a tropical takeover in the Filly Club House (BackRoom) this Saturday night 🌴

We’re hosting two old friends of ours, David Hill and Chris Menist, and their night Wandering Soul.

If you don’t know them yet, both have been a strong part of the London music scene for many years. David has been behind plenty of record labels and club nights around the city, is part of Soul Revivers, and runs an amazing photography gallery in West London (). Chris is a DJ and writer, known for his Paradise Bangkok nights and his monthly show on NTS.

Between them you can expect a journey through Jamaican, Latin, African, South East Asian sounds and plenty more.

And as a special bonus: Simon Lee, aka Faze Action, who played a sold-out live show here at Filly recently, will be joining the guys for a back to back, 3 for 3. You’ve heard the rules in the video!

This Friday night we have three DJs holding down the music for us at FB - Xuan, Nanna and Monica bring their trademark selection of 80’s, afro, dance, pop with a vinyl only session.
They’re all brilliant djs and we can’t wait to hear them play together plus you may also recognise Nanna from her illustrations for our friends at Lexi @ Pretty Decent.

They will be kicking off the session at 8pm, so get booked in or stop by for the music.

As the sunshine returns there’s still some summertime left to enjoy our Hugo Spritz which we’re now mixing using the delicious Elderflower Liqueur made by our E17 friends over at Burnt Faith.

Not only is this distilled locally they also pick wild elderflower from across the Walthamstow Wetlands and Leyton Marshes.

Slow Sunday Sessions

Who doesn’t love a Slow Sunday? We’re sure you’ll agree there’s nothing better than kicking back after a roast with a glass of red and getting immersed in some sounds from around the world.

Welcome to our the new Slow Sunday Sessions at Filly Brook, a chance for dj’s to dig even deeper in their record collections for those dusty 45s, obscure LP cuts or ultra bits of vinyl that never leave the house.

We’ll be inviting more of our lovely locals + all the friends and family of Filly Brook to come through with their laidback Sunday sounds.
