What a NIGHT! 🥂🤩 Last night, we officially celebrated the reopening of the Coach & Horses, Mayfair, following our exciting refurbishment! ✨

We had a wonderful evening with special guests, local residents, award-winning Kentish beers, and plenty of delicious dishes from our new menu.

The first pint was poured by Emma McClarkin, Chief Executive of the British Beer & Pub Association (BBPA), while Jonathan Neame, Chief Executive of Shepherd Neame, gave a speech before presenting a £1,000 cheque to local charity Caris Families, helping to support homeless families living in temporary accommodation. ❤️

Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us. We’re so happy to officially welcome you to the Coach & Horses! 🍻

The wait is finally over… the Coach & Horses is BACK! 🎉

After an exciting refurbishment, Mayfair’s oldest surviving pub has reopened its doors - and what better way to celebrate than by bringing a real coach and horses to Hill Street?! Safe to say, this beauty certainly turned some heads! 🐴✨

Our lucky competition winner and two guests also got to experience London in true old-school style, taking to the streets for a very special horse-drawn ride. 🎩

One week to go!
The wait is nearly over. Next Tuesday, August 25, we’ll be reopening the doors to the Coach & Horses and welcoming you back to Mayfair’s oldest surviving pub.

The Coach & Horses has stood on Hill Street since around 1744, welcoming generations of customers. Now, we’re getting ready for its next chapter.

Expect refreshed interiors, our historic listed bar still proudly at the heart of the pub, a new food menu featuring speciality flatbreads, and plenty of award-winning Shepherd Neame beers at the bar.

We’re putting the finishing touches in place and can’t wait to welcome you back.

A new chapter awaits for Mayfair's oldest surviving pub.

The Coach & Horses is now temporarily closed while we carefully restore and refresh our Grade II-listed pub for generations to come.

From beautifully reimagined interiors and a handcrafted new swing sign to full outdoor table service and a fresh menu of seasonal light bites, every detail has been designed to elevate your experience while staying true to the character that has defined the pub since 1744.

We look forward to welcoming you back on August 25th.
