Looking back at our Brunello di Montalcino & Friends Wine Night, we’re reminded why the wine list is such a huge part of what KOJI is today.

Not because the list is long, but because of the relationships we’ve built with the producers and suppliers behind it. With over 40 years of developing relationships within the wine trade across two generations, we’re very fortunate to host these Wine Nights and showcase some exceptional vintages from a range of exceptional producers from the likes of Domain Vacheron, Joseph Drouhin and Montalcino’s Casanova di Neri.

We wanted to give SW6 something a little different, and the Brunello & Friends Wine Night was exactly that, busy, fun and slighly wild at times with far too many magnums to keep track of!

Established in 1908 Giacomo Conterno is one of Piedmont’s true icons. His Barbera d’Alba ‘Vigna Francia’ is far from any table wine or anything but your everyday Barbera - wonderfully structured, layered and expressive, this darker fruit focused Barbera is a true classic, well integrated and fresh.

Every now and then, even the sushi chefs need a break!

After a cracking few months, the team are off on their short annual holiday. Time to recharge, spend time with the family and, for once, let someone else do the cooking.

A huge thank you to everyone who has dinned with us this season and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Well... Brunello di Montalcino & Friends certainly lived up to the name.

Six courses, six stunning wines, and a room full of people asking what’s in store for the next , notwithstanding a few sore heads the following morning.

We’d call that a success.
