Our Story
A little neighbourhood coffee shop and wine bar open 7 days.
By day, we serve premium coffee supplied by Origin Coffee Roasters, serving freshly made in-house and locally sourced ingredients in our soups, sandwiches and salads. Pastries and fresh bread also for grabs. Available to have in or takeaway. By night, we serve beautiful natural wines, craft beers and cocktails, with options of small delicious plates of locally sourced and seasonal food. Our wine list is comprised of wines from small, independent suppliers who work directly with the producers, again helping us know we are supporting the people at the beginning of the process. We are regularly featured in Londons Best Wine Bars- Time Out magazine, Conde Naste Travel, Sunday Times and Hot dinners to name a few. We often work with notable upcoming chefs such as Leo Carreiraa, Will Gleave, Josh Dalloway, Alex Nietosvuori, Chinese Laundry, Anglo Thai and more recently, personal chef to monarchy, Fi Hannah of Kiwi + Roo.
Our ethos is to support local businesses and people as well as being good to the environment. So, in our efforts, albeit small gestures, we use the following local amenities; White Brothers fruit and veg, Da Marios deli for our cured meats and oils, La Fromagerie for our cheeses, Bournes Fishmongers, Godfreys Butchers... So if our lovely customers are fond of anything in particular that we do, they are able to source the very ingredients, that we use, on their doorstep. (Remember to bring your own bags and containers and steer clear of single use plastic)
We regularly hold wine tastings, supper clubs and guest chef pop ups, which keeps us a busy little venue, so keep up to date with all our events by following us on the wonders of social media or check our website out to reserve tickets. BURNS NIGHT SUPPER 25th January (7-11) A fun evening to be had... We start by welcoming you with a Buckfast-Fizz and ending the evening raising your Dram of Whisky to the late great Robert Burns, whilst listening to his poetry- read by an authentic Scotsman. And in-between these liquid treats, we will be serving up a 4 course meal- a twist on the traditional haggis meal, cooked by culinary creative Fi Hannah of Kiwi + Roo.
