We have a quiz tonight. The theme is ROYALTY so might be a good night to win a round of drinks in the Beat the Landlord round.

Ok, we have Easter eggs, we have a quizmaster and lent is over so I’ve already had four pints of Guinness this morning, let’s do a quiz!!! The theme is Easter so expect questions about Jesus and other Irishmen rising. I’m not suggesting he was actually Irish but he did live with his mammy until the age of 30. The quiz starts at 19:30.

I’m pretty sure it would’ve been easier to find a supplier of hard drugs or small fi****ms but as Mr Tayto always says ‘Life finds a way!’
Real Tayto have arrived at the pub. Not sure how long they’ll last or when I’ll get my next shipment from my Wexican supplier so get them while you can!!

We'll be open this Saturday and showing both matches on our big screens. Ireland take on Wales at 14:15 and then England play Scotland at 16:45. Cracking line-up for the opening day!!

The quiz returns tonight after a well deserved week off. Big shout out to Quizzard Sleeve who donated their £50 winnings to the RNLI two weeks ago. We’re up to £450 raised for them in the last three months.
Tonight it’s the quiz of ‘SCHOOL’. And my school days are such a distant memory, it might be an expensive Beat the Landlord round.
Starts at 19:30.

We had some amazingly strong teams in for the quiz last night. And somehow it ended with me answering the jackpot question. Obviously, I'm not allowed to win the cash in my own pub but I am allowed to win for charity so the £300 is going to our local branch of the RNLI. These guys are fantastic and it still blows my mind that they're run as a charity and reliant on donations. I would strongly urge people to support them if they can at all.
Next week it's the quiz of 'HEALTH' and amazingly, there's still £300 in the jackpot to be won!!

We are open this coming bank holiday Monday and it's the quiz of HOLIDAYS!! The pub will be open from 6pm and Pete's Quiz will be on the mic from 19:30. So round up your friends and finish off the long weekend in style!
