The Highgate Jazz with Soul Festival
The Highgate Jazz with Soul Festival will be taking place over the August Bank Holiday Weekend (22-25 August). This year's lineup is stronger than ever and features some of the finest talent from the UK, Europe and the USA. Not only will it take place over five venues, but will include a 21 piece Jazz Orchestra – formed especially for the festival. Festival or
ganiser Brandon Allen has composed new material for the orchestra, which features award-winning US singer James Torme and Highgate vocalist Abigail Boyd. The venues hosting this years concerts are:

Brandon said: “Each year we try and move the festival up a notch and bring in more of the local venues. This year most of the events will centre around Highgate Village, which should make it easier for people to move from one venue to another.”
Highlights include Alex Garnett's London Supersax Project, Arnie Somagyi's Scenes in the City, The Sarah Gillespie Band, Jean Toussaint's JT4, The Chris Allard Band and the Highgate Jazz with Soul Festival Orchestra featuring James Torme and Abigail Boyd. Each day concludes with a late jam session open to all musicians hosted by the festival founder and director Brandon Allen. Day and festival passes can be purchased, offering considerable savings.
