Hi all, we hope you've had a great weekend 🙂

We've been in the studio all day finalising a new track which we've signed to one of our favourite labels, we'll share more details soon.

In the meantime, we're happy to share our new track 'Stories in Light' which is coming out on our own label 'Ionica Audio' next Friday 15th March.

We love the drums and textures of organic house so wanted to write something that incorporated those sounds while still being recognisably ours. We wrote everything around the main arpeggio which uses 1/32ths to give it a sort of trill and then played the piano and strings in after (we love working like this as often we'll find unexpected harmonies and chord progressions).

For some reason the track gives us a feeling of being in Japan, we have no idea why but that's how it sounds to us! Do you agree?

We'll definitely do a stripped back version too, take out all the drums and just focus on the musical elements. That'll be for another day so for now the link for preorder on Beatport is here:

We have done a Winter Mix for Proton that is now available to stream on Spotify.
We've dug deep into the Proton archives and unearthed some absolute gems. Deep and melodic throughout with tracks from Anton Ishutin, GMJ & Matter, Paul Arcane, Dmitry Molosh, Trilucid (obviously!) and loads more, it's a nice warm mix for the winter nights.
