A night of vintage jazz upstairs at The Jago every Wednesday. The Cakewalk Café is a step through life’s looking glass into the gin-soaked dancehalls of the prohibition age. From hot jazz to swing, ragtime to musichall, it’s all here, jumbled up like an old-time jamboree. Slick back your hair, tug your weskit and don’t forget that the floor is for dancing over. The superb Ewan Bleach will usually be there at the piano to accompany singers and as long as it's a jazz or blues song you are very welcome to take the mic.
