The saddest news I've had to post for some time is the passing of Reg Selby, one of our regular customers at The HOB.
Reg was so much more than a customer, he was a friend and a good friend, which was lucky as he was a terrible customer. No, really terrible!
As a friend he was glorious, he was insanely funny, kind and caring and three quarters of his close friends were a quarter of his age but as a customer ....
He drank tea and nobody ever got rich selling tea. He needed picking up...he needed taking home, help with shoppin ... yada yada yada!!! But we loved him. I loved him, Emma loved him, Asa loved him and Monica loved him and that's just the staff.
Frankie loved him, Gabby loved him, Colin loved him, hell, we all loved him.
He had been a publican somewhere in his past and was a huge support to Em and me during the last days and for that I thank him and for so much more.
He will leave a huge hole in the life of Forest Hill and in the hearts of those who had the good fortune to have known him.

Ho Ho Ho Whitstable! What a Christmas treat Mr Wilty has served up for you at OyOyster Comedy Club.
The fabulous Stephen K Amos is performing his extended show on Thursday 15th at 8pm. Tickets are £15 with a decent chunk going to Breast Cancer Care. Come and get absolutely stuck into the festive spirit with Stephen and Nick up close and dangerous!

Down here in glorious Whitstable and herne bay Nick Wilty has another fantastic bill this Thursday (1st Dec.) at The Lounge. Fortnightly now and still getting the very best in stand up comedy this club ios an absolute joy.
This week we have the fantastic Otiz Cannelloni, who if I still lived in London I would travel to Whitstable to see and the fab Angela Barnes, a former winner of BBC's New Comedy award and now firmly established on the circuit. It's a brilliant line up so we hope to see some of you there. The show starts at 8 and The Lounge is at 1-3 St Anne's Rd Whitstable.

Should be yet another fab night of comedy at The Lounge.
