London has changed quite a bit around us over the years... The Albert, not so much ❤️
Standing proudly among the modern buildings of Victoria, we've remained a little piece of Victorian London for generations.
And while we've been undergoing a major transformation, we've been careful to preserve all the history, character and charm that makes The Albert so special.
Now, with a beautiful new look that celebrates everything you've always loved about this historic pub, we're almost ready to welcome you back! 🙌
We reopen this Saturday 31 October.

It’s all coming together... 👀
After weeks of work behind the scenes, we’re getting closer to revealing the transformed Albert.
The finishing touches are going in across the pub, our revamped upstairs space is taking shape and there are plenty of beautiful details we can’t wait for you to see ❤️

There’s history in every corner of The Albert ❤️
Once a Victorian gin palace, the pub still holds so many of the original details that make it such a special part of Victoria Street.
From etched glass windows and ornate iron balconies to the famous exterior lantern, these features have stood proudly while London has grown and changed around them.
A fresh new look is on the way, but The Albert’s unmistakable character is here to stay ✨

With its own bar and space for up to 100 guests, it’s being transformed into a beautiful extension of the pub - perfect for celebrations, get-togethers, private occasions and more 🥂
We can’t wait to show you what we’re creating!

Did you know The Albert has its very own connection to Parliament? 🔔
Inside the pub you’ll find a House of Commons Division Bell, once part of the system used to alert MPs when it was time to return to Parliament to vote.
And that’s not the only nod to our Westminster neighbours - The Albert is also home to its famous gallery of former Prime Ministers.
Just a couple of the stories hidden inside this extraordinary London pub ❤️
