Hammerton Brewery is a microbrewery based in Islington brewing small batch beers with the aim to bring great tasting beer back to the borough and also re-establish the Hammerton Brewery name in London. The team are lovers of all things beer and our beers are influenced not just by English beers but the great beers found across the globe. The team consist of Lee (Owner/ Brewer), Karina (Commercial) and Sam (Head Brewer). Our emphasis is on taste and using the best quality ingredients possible.

This is one of the b**rs we all look forward to brewing every year. Thats right its time for our annual release of one of our most distinctive and exotic brews, CHICHA SOUR, a fruity, naturally soured b**r inspired by the traditional Peruvian drink Chicha Morada. Brewed with Maize Morado (Peruvian purple corn), this 4.9% sour pours a stunning deep purple and delivers vibrant berry flavours, natural acidity, and a crisp, clean finish.

A true standout, from its exotic roots to its eye-catching colour and refreshingly tart flavour. Whether it’s your first time stocking it or you’ve been waiting for its return, now’s the perfect moment to bring something completely different to your customers.

Health Benefits of Chicha: not only is it delicious, the purple corn delivers a rich boost of anthocyanins—a super-antioxidant more potent than blueberries. Hats off to our dedicated and super talented brewers for consistently brewing this amazing b**r, a Stout that’s loved by people across the country far and wide.
